Calligraphy Pricing

My standard calligraphy fees are:

(These prices are for normal, small font writing, on most types of paper.)
Wedding Invitations: Outer Envelopes, one address only (no return address): $1.00 each
Wedding Invitations: Inner Envelopes, one or two lines of names: $0.25 each
Place Cards, one name: $0.20 each
If your envelopes are lined or extremely thick, an extra $0.10 per envelope will be charged - writing calligraphy on those types of envelopes proves to be very time-consuming.

These prices may be negotiable, depending on how many orders I currently have.  Just ask!
Some types of colored paper do not work well with the water-soluble ink that I use.  Even Sharpie brand calligraphy markers and calligraphy paint pens do not work on some types of colored paper.  White paper is almost always a sure bet.
Please order plenty of extra envelopes to allow for mistakes, no matter who is addressing your envelopes.

*****No extra charge for colored inks.*****
Here are the colors of ink you may choose from:
Black, Brown, Light Blue (small orders only - 1 ink cartridge left, then it will be discontinued), Blue-Black (2 ink cartridges left, then it will be discontinued), Blue, Turquoise, Green (looks a little bit blue-ish), Purple, Red, Pink, Orange, and Yellow-Gold (may turn out quite light - not the best choice for addressing envelopes).

Thanksgiving Cake Pops!

Gobble, Gobble!

I made these cake pops for our Thanksgiving party.  I got the idea from the book "Cake Pops" by Bakerella.  They took a long time to make, but they were well worth it!
The cake flavor was German Chocolate, with coconut pecan frosting, and the turkey heads were made out of chocolate-covered espresso beans.
They were a big hit!
Turkey Cake Pops are a "Category C" Specially Designed Cake Pop: $2.75 each.

Some Bow Bouquets from Crystal's wedding

Here are the bow bouquets I made for Crystal's wedding.  The bride's bouquet is the picture at the top.  (Her colors were blue and white.)
The gerbera daisies were actual silk flowers that someone attached to a gift, so I did not make those.  There is one other flower I did not make - the white flowers on the bottom left of the bride's bouquet (another silk flower that was attached to a gift).  All the other flowers were made from ribbons, bows, and tissue paper from the bridal showers.  I add floral wire stems and silk leaves.
The bow bouquets are used for practice bouquets during the wedding rehearsal.  They can also be used for decorations for wedding showers or even centerpieces at the wedding reception or rehearsal dinner.
Everyone is always amazed at how beautiful the bow bouquets turn out!

The Cat's Calligraphy Logo
I used my favorite calligraphy font, and I turned the "s" into a cat.
How cute is that?
